Let’s Set You Up!

Hi, and welcome aboard the Sonar platform. Below, you can find a step-by-step guide that’ll make your first study a breeze. Happy reading!

Before we begin: are you in?

Log into the Sonar platform, or sign up if you don’t have an account yet.

1. Every study begins with a choice...

On the front page, you will find all the studies included in your package. Browse through and pick the study you want to fire up. Not sure what to pick? Take a look at our demo study.

2. Fire up study

Once you’ve selected the study, you’ll land on the study page. Here, you can learn something more about the study goals and other geeky stuff like our research methodology.

3. Recruit study participants

Let’s talk business: your study needs an audience like PB needs J. With Sonar, you can find your audience in two different ways:
Got the perfect audience in mind? Press “Recruit your own participants”, grab the study link and share it with the people you want to hear from.
Not a fan of link-spamming? We've got you. Filter some basic demographics, and we’ll recruit 15 participants for your study right away.

4. Load le stimuli

The last step is to upload your study assets. These can be files, links, videos, docs… Our experts call them stimuli, we prefer “whatever you want to get insights on”.

5. Ready. Set. Insights

You’re all…most set! Before starting the study, double check all your settings are correct. If you need to make changes, hit “cancel” on your study overview pop up.

You’re all set! What now?

Your study is underway. See? Super easy... But what now?
